99 integra GSR, Idles a little funny, dumb questions ahead~
Hey guys.
So I got a 99 teg, GSR, original b18c, no swap. Couple of mods, skunk2 intake mani, AEM intake, skunk2 test pipe (so no O2 sensor, which is what I think might be causing my problems.)
I have a few problems.
When I first start the car up, it idles a little high, 1500, but then it normally goes back around 1k normal range. I've heard this is pretty normal, but just getting a few other opinions on it.
But then sometimes, when i put down 15% or so of the throttle, I get an almost misfire feeling, car jumps a little.
Generally when I notice the car doing this, I will turn it off, and back on and normally the problem is fixed after the first try.
If I grab a catalytic-converter and put it on, taking the test pipe off, will that solve my issues?

If im not mistaken the test pipe should have the o2 bung on it also..you can just screw the o2 sensor in there and it will work also.. No need to add restriction to exhaust flow.. As long as the o2 sensor is in good working order and the wiring is good it will read the Exhaust gases the same as it would with an OEM cat.. GL sir

You need to use an O2 sensor, and you need to make sure you're not using the stock (unchippable '99) ECU if you're using that aftermarket skunk2 manifold that doesn't have the secondary butterflies.
