99 civic wont run right
i just put a obd2 jdm gsr in my 99 civic ex< running on a p28, and the ex harness, the car idles great but when you go to drive it it seems almost as if the coverter is clogged all you hear is intake noise and it is very sluggish, the single cam i pulled out ran fine, i have no clue what to do next, i pulled the codes and it has a #10 iat code,#15 ignition output signal, and also a # 22 vtec preasure valve, the iat is in the intake, and its a jdm motor so it has no vtec preasure switch,i dont know why its throwing a ignition output code.. any help?

Re: 99 civic wont run right
I take it that you have not swaped a b series engine into a EK before. The EK's are a one piece harness all the way to the ECU so you have no other choice but to use the stock civic harness. Hell even on the EG's I use the stock harness and modify it.
OP,
If the engine that you have does not have the Vtec pressure you might have a problem. I am not sure if aftermarket fuel management options will allow you to turn that off. The P28 looks for the pressure switch unlike the JDM ITR ecu's because that car did not have one from factory.
The best advice that you can get now is to try to clear up the ECU codes and then go from there. Like said above check the wiring to make sure that it is ok.

and put this into google.com: ignition output signal honda
I noticed a lot of information about this code.
