i have a 98 ek coupe wit a d16y8 swap wit 80xxx miles on it and it has died on me several of time while driving. the light dim completely and radio goes in and out. the tack and spedo jump and stay at 0 and will jump back up to the speed and rpm i am at than back at 0 again. wtf could be wrong? plz plz plz help me

Well the Speedo issue sounds like a VSS (vehicle speed sensor) as far as the dying...Distributor is the first thing to check(probably the coil going out).

That is just from my personal experience with Honda's though. GL

Definitely sounds like an electrical issue. Had the alternator and battery checked? Advance or Autozone should do it for free.

When u jump it it starts than u drive 5 min it wants to die on me again u have to keep pop starting it

if this continues after you check the alt and battery, check the set of wires that are behind the intake manifold, its a big Blue plug, make sure they arent rubbing on the manifold bracket, could be causing a short, ( ive heard of this issue )
