96 Civic w/ D15B problems
I just put the D15B vtec into my civic and it is idling at 3K and starts a little reluctantly. I have tried everything I can think of but have little knowledge on these swaps. I have looked around through the forum and haven't really noticed anything specific on this swap. If anyone has any thoughts or suggestions on what I can check or do that would be great. The OBD reads out one flash which indicates the O2 sensors, although it could just be something simple as a vaccum line causing a bad fuel air mixture. I used my stock DX wiring harness and almost everything hooked up like butter. the only real problems that I have is that the D15 motor has an EGR and I dont see anything equivelent to the IAC (Idle Air Control) valve which I hooked up off my manifold from the D16 and ran the hoses into it and plugged it in. I have unplugged it to make sure that wasnt the problem but it had no effect. I pinned the Vtec into the computer and also pinned the knock sensor. Would appreciate any help, thanks. If anyone wants to take a look at it, I am in Portsmouth. PM for contact info

Re: 96 Civic w/ D15B problems
I am running the P2J computer that I got with the swap. The intake is tight and I thing that the problem lies within the EGR valve and the IAC. I am sure it is vacuum somewhere but dont have the diagram fot the JDM motor. I am a bit new to all this so I am sorda lost with what to do. I have it idling now at about 1400 and it drives but the idle cuts out here and there and it does not have the power it should in the lower RPM's. Once the Vtec kicks in it takes off pretty good though.

if your car was a dx or whatever, did you do the wiring at the computer for the IACV valve? if it was already an EX ignore that or if you did that wiring?
