Default 96 Civic defrost

On my 96 civic heat only blows throught the vent when you push the button for defrost or ac or whatever it does nothing just keeps blowing out the vent. Just wondering what all it could be I know the climate control switch could be bad i guess any other ideas?

Sounds like the mode door is just stuck. Normally if something breaks it would just go to defrost since that is the default.

Behind your dash, around the blower fan. It could just be behind the glove box but really I have no clue on your car. You will need a service manual for your car to know what to test.
