ok im looking at buying a 94 mx3, the car has been sitting for 2 years and was started occasionally during those 2 years. it starts up 1st try and seems to run strong. however the check engine light is on anyone know the extent of what could be wrong? could itbe just the stale gas from sitting 2 yrs? im not looking to make it a show car i just have a long commute to work and need a reliable cheap vehicle on gas

Why was the car sitting for two years, and are you willing you put some time and money into the car in order to make it reliable enough for daily driver use?

guy who had it got it as a payment and had hard time gettn title finally jus got it, however it runs as if it bn drivn daily good accelleration n doesnt seem run bad at all n guy only wants 450 for it figured id run it til it stops then worse case scenerio take it to crusher n get 350 of it back but itll save me 100 a week drivn it back n forth to work rather than my big suv so na month itl pay for itself
