Re: 93 HONDA PRELUDE VENT CONTROL NOT WORKING
ive had the same problem with mine, and so have others, if you search on the prelude forums youll get your answer. But basically inside is old, and some of the connections come loose. I just pulled mine out hit the connectors a little and it fixed it. if not you may have to take it apart completely and resolder.

We have a tech section for a reason, figure it out.
Just drive it into a dumpster, problem fixed. |

People should know better than to expect help from va driven on a honda question posted in all caps in the wrong section.

Re: 93 HONDA PRELUDE VENT CONTROL NOT WORKING
Turn the car to IGN ON and turn the music all the way down. On the climate control select a set of vents and listen for the mechanism trying to switch over. If you look under the dash you will se a set of plastic gears and arms that select what vents the air is being directed through. I've seen these plastic pieces break before and cause the air to be stuck on one set of vents. If you can't hear anything when selecting a set of vents then you most likely have an electrical issue like a bad relay or the climate control it's self could be bad. Just an idea.
