Default 93 honda dx bad ticking

There is a bad and loud tick in the motor when I accelerate. Any ideas what it could be . I heard it could be a sprung baring . But I'm not sure .

Fried piston rings and you blew the welds on the intake.

first of all u need to determine where the tick is coming from - top of engine or bottom of engine - that will lead u in the right direction

The piston return springs have lost their tension. You have to replace them first and recheck for further problems
