the speedometer wont work but the rest of the gauges on the cluster do. why? is it cause i have an si cluster in it and not the original?

could be vss or the speedo head itself. we have had to replace speedo heads here at work

you can see if its a vss or the speedo head by jump the power wire to the signal wire on the vss plug... if the speedo moves its a vss if not its a speedo head...
