92 civic cx hatch???????
I remember readin sumwhere that all 92 civic's that came out of Canada were wired for vtec! Is that true?? I cant find the article in the thousands of import mags that I have. I just bought a 92 Cx and I'm tryin to get a sohc-vtec swap. So my other question is does it plug up or do I have to wire it up?

on mine, all of the wires on the car side of the harness (through the fire wall) were already there, but you will have to add the vtec wires to the engine side of the harness for sure.
i could be wrong though.

i remember hearing the same thing...but i heard that the vtec wires are wired up on all the 92 models...don't take my word for it...i'm not entirely sure...

All of the 92 Civic hatchbacks should be wired since all of them came from Canada. Everyone 92 I have ever seen is wired in the chassis (under dash) harness up to the connectors for the engine harness.
