91 Civic w/ b18a1 no spark
I have a 91 civic dx with a ls swap im running a p06 ecu on now i thought it was the p75 messing up so changed it and nothing...so thn i change the whole dizzy twice the main relay and checked my fuses and grounds all were good. It also gets fuel and i can hear the pump prime. Does anyone know what my problem could be? I was thinking maybe my inginition switch itself. BTW the car has a obd1 dizzy and ecu with a jumper harness. I got spark with the old motor which was a obd1 single can d15.

Re: 91 Civic w/ b18a1 no spark
I know it's kinda stupid, but try pulling a wire and grounding it with a screw driver while someone turns her over. If it sparks, then pull the dizzy off, and check the resistance of the ignitor, pcm, and crank position sensor. Also check the power wire on the dizzy plug. I don't recall which one it is, but if you have a book or can look it up, it's really simple. If that doesn't work, pm me I may have a few more ideas. Good luck man, sounds like it'll be a fun time once she's running.

Ok, so you really have not tested the ignition system from what I have read. You need to do that. I understand that the D15 was running before the swap. Now are you sure that the distributor that is in the LS is good? What you should do is test to make sure that you have power going to the the distributor plugs and test to see if you have power inside of the distributor. Most likely the coil or ignitor is the problem or hell ever the rotor button might not be in the cap.

Re: 91 Civic w/ b18a1 no spark
I replaced the dizzy three times no so that cant be the problem i even changed the ignition switch. I tested the plugs to the dizzy and its getting power and the injectors are as well. I changed the relay next to the hood release. BTW my check engine light stays on and i read that it could be the ecu or main relay is that true? I changed the ecu twice so im thinking it could be the main relay now.

So you haven't read the CEL codes yet, but you keep replacing parts over and over again without knowing if they're bad or not?
