Default 91 240sx blowing fuses

i have a 1991 240sx SE all stock..KA....keeps blowing ignition fuses. not the fuse for the key ignition, but the fuse for the motor to get spark. sometimes it blows 5 in a row sometimes it goes a few days without blowing one. i have a can tab stuffed in there now i got so tired of the fuse blowing, at 3 bux each i had to wire up a blade fuse holder cuz those are cheaper. even still got sick of blowing fuses and car shutting off on istate so maybe it will melt the problem area, has been running fine with the can tab, doesnt seem to misfire i was thinking it could be the dist. cap and rotor but it seems to run fine then just blow the fuse. i am told something is shorting which is obvious but the issue just started...i was thinking a cracked dist. cap might be the cause but it runs fine, just blows that second fuse. if anyone has any ideas i can provide more information if you have some good questions XD...

i just feel that is very unlikely, the car drove fine for so long without issue. it is very stock so it is unlikely that a ground would be generated. all the electroncs still work fine when the fuse blows, i guess ill pull off the dist. cap and see if it is broken, thats the only place i can see the short being.

well something is causing an amperage overload.

just make sure you know which fuse its on. and fine the specified circuit in the vsm and go from there.

time if your ignition components appear fine visually. start tracin wires.
