I just bought an 89 prelude and the ac dosent work. I have no idea what is wrong, it might just need to be charged. My question is, if it needs a new compressor and everything else, how much work and money is involved in that. I havent technically paid for the car yet and might not if this could be real expensive. I was hoping somebody might have some advice for me.

i say you just pull that shit out. just roll the windows down and speed up and you'll be fine.
