89 CRX dx swaped si sohc problems

i got 89 crx dx and I swaped a Si sohc non-vtec in the car! I've checked the wiring about 3 times and my car idles fine but when u slowly rev it up it acts like its hitting the rev limiter between 2000 and 4000 rpms. And when ur driving the car it stumbles and stalls but keeps goin but when u get over 3500 or 4000 rpms it runs fine but it lacks in power. can someone please help me!!!!
