Hey, a buddy of mine is buying my cv axels off of my cuz i am scraping my 88 crx dx, I have loosened the nuts, but the axels are not coming out, is there anything I have to do in order for them to come out?

spray the splines inside the hub very well with pb blaster. great stuff! i use it frequently

pull wheel off
undo axle nut
undo ball joint bolt
undo shock fork
pull axle out put back together

You can also use a ball pean hammer and tap the cv out of the hub splines. Like Mike said though, PB Blaster is your friend.

for me, once the spindle nut is off, i pop off the lower ball joint, then put the spindle nut on backwards back onto the axle not all the way just maybe 4-5 turns then hit the spindle nut with a hammer....i do this to protect the threads on the axle...
