88 civic hatch hood weight?
what's the stock hood weight on an 88 hatch?
anyone know the carbon fiber weight?
my assumption is it's not worth buying a cf hood because the weight difference isn't very much, especially for a daily driver.

I just swapped from OEM to an unmarked CF hood on a 91 this weekend. Not too much weight difference. My NIST calibrated biceps reads 3.5 lbs at most.

That's like asking "how much does a wheel weigh"...
There is no way to say how much a carbon hood weighs, unless you're talking about a specific type of hood from a particular manufacturer. I wouldn't even bother with a carbon hood for a daily, especially a 1988 daily. There are much cheaper ways to make it a tiny bit faster instead of buying a hood to shed a few pounds.
