85 Ford Ranger Wipers???
ok so, my passenger side windshield wiper works perfectly fine but my driverside wont budge at all, i have looked everywhere on how to pull apart the front grill so i can get inside and look to see if its off track or if i need a new motor. Does anyone know how to get into it to check it out and if so do you think its just off track or are there 2 seperate motors? p.s. i have check all the haynes and chilton books and not a single one gives a detail way to get into it to even check it out HELP!!!!!!!!

There's usually one motor and a linkage that connects them together. Often you have to take the wiper arms off and then take the cowl panel off to get to the motor and mechanism. I don't know specifics of that vehicle though, I stay very far away from '80s pickups trucks (well, actually all trucks...LOL).

Like Fabrik8 said, there is usually one motor that runs a worm gear. (how shit works ) and it looks like its the same wiper motor from 83 to 90 something. It may not be exactly the same because its for a 1990, but It should be close or give you a general idea. replace wiper motor

You have to take the cowl panel off to access the wiper arms.
In order to do that you need to pull both fenders off the get to the bolts IIRC

Your drag link arm is off or your wiper pivot is shot or stripped. A small pain in the ass to get at. There also may be a rubber grommet that connects the arm that may have rotted.
