85 Ford Ranger Sound?!?
ok i have an 85 ford ranger with 186,000 on it when i bought the car it ran great no prblems whatsoever now i have a problem. First it sounds like the car has a huge hole in the exhaust but when i looked up under the car and down at the headers and pretty much the whole exhaust system looked fine. its very loud and speed has been reduced greatly! what could the problem be, maybe just not fireing on all cylinders, or is it something completly diff. someone please help i got 400 bucks worth of tickets for it today!

Check for a loose spark plug. A hole in the exhaust won't cause much of a power problem. If you have a hole in a header, that might cause a larger power loss but still not huge.
