84 monte carlo ss shifting issue.
alright so i have my project 84 monte carlo ss and im in the final stages of getting this bitch running. ive connected everything that i have for it and it turns on fine no idle problems, and i shifts perfect from 1st to 2nd, but when it should be shifting from 2nd to 3rd it doesnt it just stays in 2nd. ive tried everything from flushing the tranny fluid and putting new fluid in it to theying to manually shift it but nothing will do it, it just keeps rising in rpms til im redlining like a fuckind fast and furious ricer. so does anyone else know what it could be? its a stock 305 motor and a stock auto TH-350C 3speed tranny. any help would be nice.

pull your valve body and check it over also check your solenoid pack you may have a solenoid thats stuck and wont allow it to shift

yes.. if the solenoid doesnt open it wont allow fluid to that clutch pack... also you could possibly have a torn seal in the transmission causing you to lose pressure and that clutch pack wont engauge
