i have a 1997 eagle talon it has stock injectors and fuel pump. i recently finished my big 16g turbo install, but when it hits about 1.8 bar the car falls on its face like the map cant read the boost or the maf cant read the intake of air. Is it something i am missing i have a safc and the correction points are supposed to be correct according to the installer. i have a 255lph pump for it and 750cc injectors but will that solve the problem? and the bad thing is that the turbo just begins to spool at about 3600rpm and it falls out at about 4800rpm just when it gets fun lol. can someone help me?

i was going to suggest fuel cut, or a boost leak. Do you do the tuning yourself?

i had a installer put the safc in and the big 16 i did myself i just dont know what could make it cut out? could the map mot read it?

1.8bar = 26psi
turn your boost down before you blow it up lol

turn it down to about 1bar until you install your injectors and fuel pump and tune from there

Guess i read the post way wrong, i thought it said he had fuel injectors, and fuel pump (ie already in the car lol) Fuel cut it is! ha.

thanks guys will i need to get a DSM LINK when i put my 750cc and fuel pump in it? or can my safc do it? and just out of curiousity how many hp am i getting now. i am normally a mustang or turbo teggy guy but my dsm has surprised me thus far

yes i would highly suggest dsmlink. safc isn't going to do much with injectors over 660s. Time to look for an eprom ecu and dsmlink!
