Default 300zx rear in a s2000

I cannot find shit on this swap.

Inline pro sells the kit for 4,000 skrillaz but I'd rather not spend that. What all do I need? Has anyone fabricated the shit themselves? I'd rather not put another weak ass S2000 differential back in my car.

Your talking about Chads (Black Nugget)'s old s2000. Its boosted, correct? Yeah, chad did that when he had the car. I have already talked to him. Except Chad spent the 4k on the Inline pro kit.

I'm also looking at the Puddymod diff right now as we speak for the s2000. It's guarenteed not to break and is significantly cheaper.

even if you got your own mounts, you still need the driveshaft and axles. I believe thats where most of the cost comes into play.

Looked at Puddymod.

Upon further investigation the rear axle was in a bind and is busted.

Yeah, happened on mine. Guess it's cause I went lower. Axles are in a bind, I didn't have driveshaft spacers. (Ordering some tonight) and both rear axles. The differential seems to be O.K! I've always heard some clicking when turning out while in Neutral. Suspected an axle, so I went and tore it apart before condemming the rear. Glad I did.

Puddy mod rear end in the future though.
