Exclamation 2G DSM Injectors450cc/S-AFCII

1.) Is there any easy way to loosen the 2 bolts on the fuel rail of my non-turbo talon? I got one off on the far side away from the intake, now the one closest to the intake remains.

2.) I'm tuning my S-AFCII with a t3/t4. I want to safely push 10lbs on demand, but run 6-7lbs daily. I have 450cc blue top injectors being installed as well. My numbers so far are: TH- LO:15% Hi:55%. Ne01:1000, Ne02: 1400, 2000, 2400, 3000, 3400, 3800, 4200, 4600, 5200, 5600, 6000. Volt=13.4-13.8V . Then I forgot what the other screen was, but it's:

4.9%
8.5%
9.5%
(those three listed in vertical order on a screen to themselves, not moving or changing, but I can adjust them).

I'm just looking for some small advice before I take it to AutoSolutions to have it tuned. I don't have my manual on me, and have only looked at the screen several times....... hehe, I've never done this before, but 'am keeping boost at a minimal and have been tweaking here and there. Thanks.
-Chris

As for the bolts on the fuel rail, yes they can be loosened. All bolts can with enough pressure.

My only concern is using 450s with a t3/t4. Which trim turbo are you talking about? What other supporting mods do you have? (FPR, Pump, etc.) I am pushing my luck using 550s with a 50trim t3/t4 so I dunno how your gunna manage stock turbo injectors..

My AFC is set with the LO-TH and HI-TH points at around 20-25 and 75-80 respectively. A HI-TH of 55% is low IMO.

Thanks fish, I have a Vortech FMU (I think it's a S-10), a Walbro 190mL fuel pump, and trim.... hmmm... it's a Turbonetics in the Star Stage II kit, but, I bought my turbo kit used and it came with no directions so I dunno the trim or any of that stuff. I just threw it on the car and 'am now wanting to support it. I got a lot of responses when I open my hood. Most just stare with a question mark on their face and say,"it's nice". haha.

because you are pushing way more boost than he is going to be. 450's should be more than sufficient for 6-7 PSI on that turbo.

he said 10lbs safely would be the ending goal. 10lbs on a 50trim with 450s just doesnt seem like enough. just my opinion though...

Yeah, normally it will be 6-7 lbs on stock injectors... other problem I ran into today is that I didn't know that I'd have to modify my 2G rail to fit the 1G 450CC injectors. One shop says buy a 1G fuel rail--> and would I have to modify that rail too? Second shop says to place spacers on injectors to lengthen them. Then another shop said, buy bigger injectors suitable for the 2G rail, b'c it'll save you money and hassle to just buy some that will bolt up like stock. Turns out that the 1G injectors are shorter than the 2G injectors. I also came back from Auto Solutions today, and the car runs better in most areas with the exception of 5th gear. The tech says the rest of it here out is "feeling" for it and making "small" changes per RPM w/ the S-AFCII. One other tech said that the S-AFCII might have been unneccessary... but, I beg to differ. It feels better in the areas where I had bad stall and bog earlier. Thanks goes out to Auto Solution.
