240SX fuel pump

I need a new fuel pump for my '92 Nissan 240SX. I was wondering would it be over-kill to go ahead and get a Walbro 255lph pump now? I stille have the KA24DE and I'm going to be swapping in the SR20DET motor in the near future. The price for the Walbro is only about $20-30 more than the OEM pump and there's no point in putting in OEM when in a few months I may need an aftermarket pump. Any input will be great! Thanks for your help!

yeah, like you said there's no point putting oem when you'll need the upgrade when in goes the sr. then you won't have to worry about the almost new oem pump that no one really wants to buy from you.

you can find the walboro's all day long for 90-100 dollars. def worth it...you'll end up over running your factory fpr too which i would recommend a NISMO.

yeah....definatly go with a walbro, it would be pointless to put OEM in a few months b4 the swap, and like stormtrooper said, get a nismo FPR, i did pretty much the same thing your doing when i was going to swap my SR in my old 240 and it worked perfectly....GL
