hey their im am starting my new project. its gonna be a 240sx swap with the rb25det engine in it. the 240sx i have unfortunitly is automatic. i was wondering if anybody on here has any idea on how toe auto to manuel swap is for these cars. and for the engine is the full swap i kno i need a driveshaft, crossmember and mounts here is what it comes with.

auto to manual conversion should be the easy part.

The tranny swap will be really easy because you are swapping out the engine, too. But, unless i missed it somewhere, you're gonna need to pick up a clutch master and slave cylinder along with the lines. You will also need to take off your auto cluster lid or buy a manual one. But thats really just for cosmetics. I mean, if you know what you are doing, then go for it.

auto to manual swap is gonna b the easy part, no need to swap gauge clusters. ull need the master and slave cylinders, transmission crossmember, driveshaft(but ure gonna need that for the rb swap to begin with),auto to manual line, and clutch pedal. theres a template beside the brake pedal under the dash for the master cylinder and clutch pedal once u pull the carpet back. u can either cut the stock brake pedal in half or u can get one from a manual car. i cut mine in half. only wiring ull have to do is for the reverse switch sensor.

wow thanks yea all that is helpfull information.yea i have friends helpen me it would be my first auto to manual swap. thanks yea i knew about the driveshaft and all that and i need special motor mounts.
