precat O2 pulled and getting mass white clouds of gasoline smelling exhaust - guessing not enough spark or too much fuel

have you check the electrical side of the injectors with noid lights? They may not be pulsing correctly. If you are getting that much fuel out of the exhaust the plugs could be fouled by now too. Will the car run on carb/choke cleaner?

*other than knowing that you should have good fuel pressure, have you checked the spark or the compression yet?*

Checked the spark - good at the coil pack, weak at the plugs - reason plugs are fuel soaked. I pulled them and left the O2 hole open then cranked with WOT - seemed to help as after that car attempted to run for 5-10 secs before choking out. Tried several times, pulled the plugs again and they are soaked

Have you checked if the plugs are correct for that engine? Also, how are you testing spark at the coil pack without the plug in place, and are do you trust what that is telling you?

I'm actually pretty convinced that you have a Passlock problem. The fact that it lights during a no-start condition is just too suspicious and keeps nagging at me. Have you tried the generic 10 or 15 minute (I can't remember) relearn procedure?

The plugs are correct, I tested spark at plug with a spark light - was hella weak due to plugs being soaked. Tested voltage at the coil pack came up good, did a visual test from coil pack to body and saw the arc The engine appears to be getting flooded by fuel and I am being told it's due to faulty injectors. Not sure how the injectors just crap out like this.

Well, I was thinking the same thing but I did the relearn and it's not popping up anymore, it cranks and attempts to idle like an old farm truck then chokes.

I'm not sure I believe that. 6 injectors don't just go bad all at once with the same failure mode. Something else is going on. Check voltage at the injectors without the engine running, and use a voltmeter and not a silly noid light. If you're doing diagnostics, use real diagnostic equipment that can give you actual information. Noid lights don't apply.

K, dont really know how to use a noid light. I will probe the the injector voltages once I have the daylight, would help to know what the spec is. Also thinking of just pulling off the rail with the injectors in it and turning on the ignition - if they are producing fuel they are pooched.

The spec is battery voltage, or very close to it. Actually, that depends on whether the ECU is switching the injectors to ground or to power, but switching them to ground is more common. It depends on the ECU architecture, but most brands switch to ground for reasons that I won't bore you with. That means that one side of the injector will go to power (battery voltage), and one side will go to the ECU.
