i have a 2001 chevy blazer (117,000) 4.3 vortech and it will not start up. when you go to start it it will sound like it wants to but jus wont or it will start, rev up and then die, any advice or help would be appreciated

check the dizzy cap and rotor, i had the same damn problem on a 4.3 S-10.

Maybe try changing your fuel filter, check your fuel pressure aswell. Could be a clogged filter, or a restriction in one of the lines. When did this start happening, was it sitting for any period of time?

i drove to hardees and back and it did fine. i went to leave me friends house like 10 minutes later and it jus wouldnt start its been sitting ever since then(about 2 months ago) everytime i try to start it wil rev but it jus doesnt seem like its getting enough to start
