1998 integra gsr engine grounding
Alright so I just bought a car and the realized that the front engine to radiator support ground was gone. The bolt that connects to radiator support was there. I went to go take the bolt off and it snapped easily(Rust). The thing is, is that it is a special bolt with a hole through the middle where a wire comes up from underneath connecting to the top bolt. Also the wire goes somewhere inside the firewall. Now I went to autozone and they didnt sell this special engine grounding mount and was wondering if I can just put a connector on the wire and straight bolt it to chassis. Will this make a performance issue or is everything going to be okay? Thanks in advance

Your post hurt my head after reading 2 lines into it, but if you are missing a ground, do whatever you need to replace it.
Not having one is gonna affect performance more than the way you make the connection, though you should try to do it properly.
