Default 1969 Corvette Engine Swap

I have the yellow Corvette with the sidepipes. I was doing a burnout and basically broke the tranny when it caught traction (it was bound to happen sooner or later). Does anyone know anything about the T-5 transmissions found on the 80's and 90's Camaros, Firebirds, and Mustangs. I meant to say transmission swap, not engine. This is Daniel's friend Adam.

They pretty much suck. Forever tearing up second gear synchro's. Weak input shaft assemblies as well. FTW, go with a Turbo/Hydro 400 automatic.

which trans you running now? Muncie m21? If so jump up to the M22 rock crusher. It's a bit noisy but much stronger, just need a new clutch and yolk.

Than M21 or M22 either is stronger. But the M22 is the strongest.
