I have a 95 celica gt, i want to know about the mr2(3sgte) motor swap. Anybody kno anything about?

I believe the tricky part is the transmission. If your Celica has a 5sfe why not just turbo it? you can use a 3sgte exhaust manifold and a CT26. You can handle about 8lbs of boost before you need to start switching out injectors and such. if you go to the MR2OC message board there are a few postings of what you want to do.

you could always just import this motor/tranny set up. Remember this year celica was an altrac over seas. but choice is yours.

build the 5sfe. alot of build mr2s have a stoked 5s with the 3s heads

the only problem with that is the trans will have an output shaft to the rear of the car
