I have a 2001 LS and it keeps idleing out on me when im in neutral or if the clutch is fully engaged. Not sure what it is. Any ideas? alternator battery and idle controller where checked out and i was told they were fine.... not sure where to go next... advice would be very helpful

What do you mean by "idling out"?

i mean idling out by it completely stalls out.... sometimes it jus drops to 100-200 rmps and sometimes it jus completely cuts out.

Most likely you have something like a clogged IACV screen, and the extra load from having to spin the transmission shafts when the trans is engaged is just putting the IACV over the edge of what it can regulate for idle with a clogged screen. Try that first. If that doesn't work, give us more info and we'll go from there.

Just wanted to make sure we're on the same page. I didn't know what "idling out" means.

well thats wut the shop thought when i took it in to them.... they actually cleaned my idle controller.... still leaving me with an idle issue.

and i jus recently can feel a difference in the way it pulls.... its deff somewhat slower then wut it was before i had the idle issue

That points to something like a sensor problem most likely.
