Re: 01 gsr radiator fan problem
The temperature switch, the relay, the motor itsself has gone bad.
Did you do ANY research? Did you check for voltage at the fan and work your way back? What happens when you turn on the A/C? |
Re: 01 gsr radiator fan problem
first thing you should look at are the fuses.
Turn on the AC like ej1995 said, they both should turn on. google images returned this 2001 diagram for the engine fuse box. You need to check the condenser and cooling fan fuses if one of the fans doesnt turn on with the AC on. http://acura.my3gb.com/images/00-acu...diagram-10.jpg |
Re: 01 gsr radiator fan problem
It's probably the Steering wheel- seat interface

Re: 01 gsr radiator fan problem
Check the fan temp switch first. They like to go bad on Hondas.

Re: 01 gsr radiator fan problem
Ac doesnt work i think my system needs to be charged up no compressor kicks on i haven't checked voltage dont have a volt meter i did read how to jump the fan out.

Re: 01 gsr radiator fan problem
Buy a voltmeter or you have no way of diagnosing this. The only thing you'll be able to do is blindly replace parts.

Re: 01 gsr radiator fan problem
you can always run your own basic power and ground wiring to the fan and hookup a toggle switch and mount it into the dash,
heres a good/helpful link for diagnosis though http://honda-tech.com/honda-accord-1...ystem-2793650/ |
