i just got home from being in court for not having a city sticker and improper display of my license plate. i was scheduled to be there (and appeared) at 9am. my case didnt occur until approximately 1:30pm. i put in a good 3hrs worth of change in the meter and didnt want to leave at 12 to fill the meter in case i got called. my tickets were cleared in court however i have a parking ticket waiting on my car when i get back. should i even bother to fight this one too?

 

yes, if you have to work on that day consider how much money you will lose for not being at work to fight that ticket

I would say give it a shot. Worst that would probably happen is that you lose some time and pay the ticket. Best would be that the ticket is thrown out.

 

yea.. fight it. cops need to lay off the bs tickets.. no front plate? come onn.. thats gotta the be dumbest ticket ever, i've had 4.. and all were tossed out, and all were from the same cop....

 

thats how they get you....pay for tickets, pay for parking, pay tickets for parking...its not cool man. i would fight it.

 

no they get u on court costs..think about it...u fight a ticket...the judge laughs @ u, u pay the fines + court costs....or ticket gets thrown out and u still pay court costs (well thats how it is in IL not sure if its the same here), even tho the ticket was thrown out...sucks

 

How much is your time worth?

I'd have to say mine is worth to much to worry about some stupid $50 parking ticket. Pay it and forget about it.

 

...if the ticket gets the boot do does the cost of court, also it's more like a 100 doller ticket i would tink since most are 35-45 bucks + the 45-65 court cost....even if you pay off the ticket a head of time you still gotta pay the court.

so yea i'd goto court and fight it.
