I'm back... finally
Got the call today at lunch. The Z06 is finally back together and ready for me to pickup tonight. Car is apparently running super smooth and the new new clutch feels great (per the tech).
Turns out my stock stuff was out of balance by over 8 grams and putting on the new zero-balanced unit f'd things up. I knew I felt a slight vibe, but not enough to break anything.
This time around I had the new aluminum flywheel and clutch match balanced to the out-of-balanced stock stuff. Basically my motor wasn't perfectly zero-balanced from the factory and the factory clutch assy was counter balanced to make it perfect.
Hopefully I didn't jinx myself

Just got home... nice and smooth. After driving her like this I can see that I did indeed have a drive-line vibe, not a bad one, but it feels better now. Cya on the road.

^^^ I was very confused/pissed too, but all is well now. It'd hav been 1,000,000x cheaper and less frustrating had I known about the match balancing needed on some cars before this happened.
