the dealer is offering me $1000 below MSRP for a 2005 Le Mans Sunset Base Coupe. Wat do you guys think? This is my first time buying a brand new car.

get the model/package/whatever with the Brembo's

email every nissan dealer within a 100mile radius. get the best 2 or 3 prices and then haggle between them for the lowest price.

$1000 below MSRP, nah you can do much better than that. What model are you looking at? You should be able to get it at or near invoice if you know how to deal and have the credit to back it up. Thats a hot color by the way, I wanted it originally but ended up with Daytona Blue instead.

To me it's not all about speed. The Z has plenty of power for me, not bad for a high 13 low 14 second car bone stock. The Z is one of the best cars that hold their value and it looks good too. There is tons of aftermarket out there if you're interested. Plus after over 10 years of modifying hondas/acuras, I grew out of them. Of course you can turn them into 11second boosted econoboxes, but I wanted something a little more grown up.
