Default Sidemarker Installation?

Anyone out there willing to help me install my JDM sidemarkers on my EJ1. I'm located in Lynchburg and willing to pay, bring beer, etc. I went to a local bodyshop to see if they would cut the holes for me, but no luck and I don't trust myself to cut a hole in my fenders.

just make a paper trace thingy and then cut it to small, and dremel it out a little at a time until it fits..

I talked to Laslie's since thats who I usually deal with for all of my body work or stuff like that, but they were supposed to call me back last Tuesday and they haven't called yet, so I assume they aren't gonna help me out. Looks like I'm gonna be getting a dremel and a cutting wheel and going at it.

besides, fenders are cheap and easy to replace.

and with all due respect, it's a Honda. You can get a fender for the money you find in your couch.

I might head to the junkyards during this week and see if they have a fender they'll give me or sell me real cheap so I can practice at least once before I go ripping into mine.

I think that's quite possibly the best idea expressed in this thread.

Doesn't have to be a pretty fender if you're experimenting. Just get a feel for how your dremel/cutter works on that type of surface.. If you screw up, oh well.. it's a junk fender.

I'm not trying to belittle your mod, by any means.. I'm just saying you're not cutting a hole in the roof and doing your own sunroof install or anything, so it's not quite as serious. Fenders are easy to replace, and readily available.. especially for your application.

But yeah, try that.. Get a junker.

Yeah, I know you weren't trying to belittle my mod and I see where you're coming from. I was just trying to see if anyone on here had any experience and would be willing to help me. I got the sidemarkers for free more or less, so I figured I may as well install them. I"ll post pics when I finally get them installed.
