Lightbulb Local work needed, replace T-45 in 1996 Mustang GT

A friend of mine has a stock 96 Mustang GT convertible and his t-45 transmission seized up on the way back from a trip. Towed into his driveway. Needs replacement and someone to install if possible. Could be a way for a member to earn some Christmas loot. I'll forward along any info to him. Thanks.

He is looking for parts and someone to perform the labor. One of mechanic friends can do the work up in Maryland, but we still need a transmission and prefer someone local if possible instead of trying to haul the car around too far.

WOw, I just sold a t45 for 100 bucks and met the guy half way. Look on corral.net or stangnet.com and find one. IMO, they are not worth anymore than 250 TOP DOLLAR, not that there a bad tranny, but there are like a million mustangs out there, LOL
