anyone work at best buy? im bout to start working there next month at the new store by cheasapeake square mall. i was wondering if anyone knew what discounts you get on purchases. i heard that you pay 10% above store cost and ive also heard that you just get 10% off. someone let me know whats up

 

my friend used to hook me up all the time. He paid insanely low prices on smaller stuff like under 200 bucks; i remember he got me a cat5 cord orginally like 30 bucks for like 5. Then other stuff like blank media he only got like 7 or 8 dollars. It all really depends, but i know it not just 10% for sure

 

alright thats cool. i use to work at lowes and we paid cost plus 10% on special order stuff but stuff we have in the store we only got 10% off. one of the tightest things we sold was marked up like 60%. its a jacuzzi tub with a 36in flat screen tv molded into it and lowes wanted 29,000 for it but they only pay 16,000 for it. stores mark some stuff up a shit load but other things only like 20% so i know how all that goes. but i guess any discount is better then nothing. might be about time to get a new big screen tv and some other things.

I'll actually be working at that store for the opening. I'm also one of the trainers for that store. So I guess I'll see you there. As for the discount. It's usually 10% above the average store cost. So on some things it really nice, and some things it's barely anything at all. It really all depends on the average margin the product has. Feel free to pm me if you have any questions.

 

u get everything for 5% above wholesale. some stuff more than others.

does anyone know the guy who drives the rsx that works at the pembroke store.ive seen the car over there a lot. its pretty nice, really clean.
