anyone know what this thing that happens in rockville on friday and saturday nights? and exactly where it is?

yeah, just a bunch of ppl show up in a shopping center in the lot in front of Sports Authority. there is quite a bit of rice up there but if you have nothing else to do then you should check it out. To get there just go up 495 to 270 then on 270 it will split and take the "local exits" which is on the right. Then just take exit 4a which is Montrose Rd EAST. then just follow that for maybe 10 min till you get to Rockville Pike and make a left on rockville pike and you will see the shopping center on your right as soon as you are on the road. then just go in there and park. most people show up at 10-10:30 usually.

 

It's right off 495 you take the Rockville exit and go about a mile and half and there is a shopping center on the left that everybody meets at. But most of the time it gets broken up by the cops. Or yeh what Corolla said.

 

All the times i have been there the cops have never kicked us out. they usually just cruise through and get the ppl who are doing burnouts and playing music real loud and shit.

 

Cops usually do kick everybody out at 11:00-12:00. Maybe now they realize that whenever the cops kick ppl out, they all start racing elsewhere. Personally I don't go to Rockville anymore b/c nothing interesting ever happens there.

 

When need a new spot that has a good staright 1/2 mile for people to race and it's not residential or industrial. I know of a place in Sterling that has a good 1/2 mile if people are interested and there is usually 90% no cops there.

 

You just got nailed for doing 91 in a 35. If I were you I would lay low until you get that taken care of instead of starting new racing spots up.

 

there is a new strip they go to in MD from rockville. everytime i've got they leave around 12:30 on fri and head to the strip. if you're interested in going i'll probobly head up there next fri. so drop me a line if you're interested in runnin your cars!
