don't know the answer to your question, but here's something to think about if you want the paint to look as good as possible: Red is single handedly the hardest pigment to color match, with that in mind you'll have better luck repainting the whole car, otherwise it will be noticeable where the new paint is. Just some advice............

silver can be hard to match. Getting the flake right is the hard part IMO. Nate, what company paint does your shop use and is Milano Red a tri-stage (base/top)?

actually it depends what year it is. I've got the codes for some older civics and tegs...put the code in the computers formula showed it wasnt a tri-coat. But on the newer ones they are. We use Duponts Chromabase for our basecoats.

All the ones we sold were tri-coat other than in the acrylic urethane (single stage), but it was slightly different looking to me.

Oh it is different if you dont use it as tri-coat. It's different to a painters eye but customers can't really tell.

I just take the chromavision camera and take a picture of the color and not spray it as a tricoat when i trim out parts. Saves a lot more money and time that way.
