Hey guys just thought some of you might like to know that me and a few guys are throwing a small halo lan this Saturday. We will have 12 Xboxs and 12 27" or larger tvs set up in stations of 4.

Some of you might remember the Halo Tournament last year that we threw. At that tournament we had about 35 teams in the team competition and 125 people in the free for all competition. It was a great success and we gave out about 1000 dollars in cash and few prizes.

This is all a setup for the tournament we are planning in November for Halo 2.
We will be the first to throw a Halo 2 tournament and people that show up to the lan this saturday will have a chance to sign up on a list for first spots to the November tournament.

at the tournament last year we had 36 xboxes and 24 27", 10 32", and 2 42" tvs

we are working the November Halo 2 Tournament to get a few sponsorships to get 42" high def plasmas for the final team game and final free for all.

 

well 12 xbox's is a little too many people yelling and shit for me lol but it sounds like it'll be fun

aw such short notice. We've (meganman, suprascooby, victum, oneflyazn) been playing halo from sun down to sun up for almost a month now. I dunno if i can get off work but best of luck on the event. hope its a good turn out again.

two of the guys that are putting this on with me, just got back from AGP tournament in Washington DC http://www.theagp.com/
where they do national rankings and they placed in the top 25 teams in the nation.

They have also played the number one team, the Dream Team [TDT], and have done pretty well against them.

but i suck royally, and watching these guys play is amazing.. they have play books and defensive strategies, they use nicknames for these plays and they will set up plays during the game with code talk... and they get up and on places that i never knew existed on the multiplayer maps
