Arrow Civic to Integ Conversion ?s

On 96-98 Model Civic converted to 98+ Integra.

If I get the fenders, hood, front bumper, lights. Do I really need to get the core support? Do I need modify anything to fit, like near where the fenders meet the A-pillars? Or any other modifications to get in my way. Trying to decide if it is worth the stress? LOL.

Thanks

Why bother? You'll still end up with a Honda....

Seriously, though, nice Integras can be had for relatively little money (around here, at least). Why spend all that money to make a car look like another car when you can just go get that other car for not much more money?

yeah dude, you definitely need the support... otherwise it just doesn't work... I've seen a 92-95 hatch go to an integra and it wasn't hard at all... done in 1-2 days. The hood matched right up and everything... the hardest part is the fenders, obviously... I think the guy I know ended up using half civic, half integra fenders and welded some shit together... but yea its not too bad, good luck!

Ok I formally apologize to anyone who took offense to that statement. I have been extremely stressed with this next heart surgery coming up. But I have since then decided I am getting an 96 integ GSR.

Nice choice. Good luck.

BTW, I didn't say anything about the conversion looking bad, although I can't quite imagine the outcome, it's just the 'Hassle' of it that I was referring to... I don't know of anyone that done it; therefore, I doubt many people would know what would fit where; which means, you'd have to go about measuring everything or test fitting and possibly doing it through trial and error. Also, if it didn't fit quite well, you may end up doing some cutting and welding along with bodywork which would cost more money. In conclusion, I would recommend finding someone, who has an integra (possibly a friend) and do some measurements; if appears that it would be a straight bolt-on project, only needing minor modification then 'sure, go for it'... Otherwise, count how much money you have and rethink the situation. (See the 'Hassle' from my viewpoint?)
