Hey

I've started looking for a new job lately, and I was wondering if auto shops required someone to be 18 before hiring. I know dealerships do, but do auto body shops, and repair shops go by this too? I have some friends who work for dealerships, in repairs, but they got their jobs through Monroe tech(school program). I want to find a job I would enjoy doing and am just wondering if anyone on this board knows the answer?

you don't have to be 18 to work at a dealership...

 

to work at a dealership i believe you only need a license (if you're trying to be a porter)

I'm planning on taking some classes, because I've worked on my old 82' bronco (i used to have) numerous times, but it's far from a 2000+ car.

I know at gas stations you only have to be 16. Most of the time if you get hired at a gas station you will just do all the shit like trash and cleaning and later one oil chages and mounting tires.
