Default need advice on good vw mechanic for 2000 gti turbo

we have been dealing with casey VW and checkered flag VW but neither left us with a good taste in our mouth or checkbook. could someone else with a 2000 or so gti or vw recommend a good local mechanic they trust!

thanks in advance!

Casey VW sucks. I had a 97 GTI with numerous problems. Their service team never knew wtf they were doing, charge obscene prices, and voided my 10year/100k warranty for having "speed modifications". I used to get it serviced at AutoHaus in Yorktown but now they only service Mercedes. I did find another legit repair shop on Jefferson Ave in Newport News. It's called Tidewater Imports. They have reasonable prices and do pretty good work. I would definitely recommend them.

Don't go to Greenbrier VW either. They can't even put lugnuts on right.
