My parents thinking about getting one.... I just want to know the good things about it and the bad things about it? Thanks

 

Good things: cheap, lots of room, great gas mileage, lots of potential for audio mods, few engine swap options, tons of aftermarket support, toyota quality, unique, very nice interior, nice ride quality, lightweight

Bad things: Pioneer speakers, doors need some serious dynamat, slow (not too bad with manual transmission), people will always stop you to check out your ride, unless you order one you may get stuck with some ricer options

 

my mom was looking into the same thing, i told her to go for it, so i could take it out, lol, man those things are for such a good price, i just dont think i could afford 2 payments @ once

 

somebody will end up posting about how they think they are ugly as sin; but regardless of personal opinion, it's a great car for the price.

In my opinion it is ugly, but I will not deny the deal you are getting for the price. Just my opinion.

 

they already got turbo chargers for them.

my friend had one today at school (rental car). They are not half as big as I thought they would be. There is less room inside than my accord, at least width wise, but they made good use of the little space that's in there. Oh and Pioneer audio is good shit (minus subs + amps) so whoever sad that is a bad thing is dumb lol. Personally, I don't like them but they are a good deal for the money. You'll need the TRD supercharger (or is it a turbo?) to make it any quick though, stock is only 108hp.

 

from what i understand, you can basically get any part in the aftermarket there through the dealership, and have it installed and added to your payments.
