Business is slow. Toy has to go. I think it's priced fair.

1979 VW Transporter. The minimal rust it had has been cut out and new metal welded in. Very straight and solid. Just needs prepped and painted.

2.0l with unknown miles. Fuel injection has been replaced with a progressive carb. New lifters(500 miles).

Adjustable front beam. New front and rear shocks. Notched rear spring plates. Lowered a couple clicks. New wheels and new tires. Stock steel wheels and tires included.

Noteworthy......no heat, reverse lights don't work, odometer doesn't work, steering box should be adjusted or replaced. There's too much play in steering. Bentley manual and some extra parts included.

I drive the bus regularly. I'd be comfortable driving a reasonable distance. Will lower price if you don't want the Porsche wheels.

What time of the day are you able to show it?

Have you noticed increased wear on the rear tires with the amount of camber? Any ideas why the heat doesn't work?

 

PM replied. Heat doesn't work because the heat exchangers and blower motor are gone. This isn't a daily driver. It's too slow, loud, uncomfortable, and smelly. It's a great weekend/summer car that gets tons of attention though.

I found an ad from 2 owners ago.(1 year ago) Here is what he said .......

the motor has new rod and main bearings new pistions and cylinder and of course new rings new valves that been seated a new camshaft and other internals
