Yesterday I got pulled over and got two tickets. One for no front plate (I understand that. I'm not arguing that) and the second was my exhaust. But the thing is, it's completely stock. Stock exhaust manifold, stock piping, stock cat, everything. I tried to explain that to the cop but he really didn't care. Is there any way of fighting the exhaust one? Could I go to a shop and have them verify thats its stock?

 

Maybe it's because your license plate is URATWAT.

 

What do you drive? More on the story? Were you revving or hitting red line?

blizkit- complete story.. I was driving down a two lane road and the speed limit is 35, so I was just cruisin in 4th gear. There were two cars ahead of me and I wasn't following too close or anything and the cop was coming from the other direction. He did a little 3 point turn and then hit the lights.

I'm going to guess that this occurred in either Cpeake or VABeach, not because of where you live, but because you got a ticket for a stock exhaust.

I have gotten exhaust and plate tickets before. just take photos of the vehicle, bring them to court proving the exhuast is stock and one with the plate on the front of the vehicle. You will win.
