1997 Jeep Wrangler 4.0 Automatic with hard top
Name:Rob
Location: Virginia Beach
Means of contact: pm me with you number, serious buyers only please.
Price: $4800
Description:
Real nice jeep that runs fantastic. Can be daily driven or your weekend toy. I've owned it for a little over a year and my wife wants a Miata! I just bought a Miata and she wants her own. The only trade I will accept is for a nice Miata with an automatic transmission.
About the jeep;
Runs great, has maybe 141k miles with an automatic trans that was rebuilt per the previous owner. Shift and runs great! This was my daily driver until a week ago when I bought a Miata. Very cold ac and hot heat. Cd player with overhead speakers. Has a rough country 3 1/4" suspension lift with bfg 32/11.5/15 all terrain tires with at least 60-70% tread. Lift will easily clear 33's if you decide to go that route in the future. Has a hard top with hard doors and I should have the soft top for it in fair condition.
Obviously you want to know what's wrong for this great price.
Door looks act funny, but once you get used to them it's not an issue (I'll explain in person).
Passenger side fender has a rust hole on the top, paint was bubbling when I got it and ignored it. Can easily be fixed or fender replaced.
Has your typical rock dings, but no dents and small paint chips on the grill.
Could use a new radiator before the summer which is under $100 on ebay. You can order it and I will put it in if needed.
Needs an accessory belt or adjusted because it sometimes is noisy. I will more than likely replace that so it's not going to be an issue.
Catalytic converter rattles.
Not trying to scare anybody, it's actually a very nice jeep especially for the money and i would confidentially drive this anywhere with no hesitation. I'm just very honest.
If you are interested pm me your number with a time to get back to you. The only trade I will consider is for a Miata with an automatic transmission. Oh yeah, 4wd was great during the snow we got this past winter. I'm the 3rd owner.
