Maintenance done within last 5k:
Engine tore down and rebuilt. New BMW valves, guides, seats and valve springs. New Clevite rings (File fit for perfect fit) New main bearings and rod bearings. Block bored .030 over and honed. BMW head, intake and exhaust manifold gaskets used.
Timing belt and tensioner
Beisen VANOS seals replaced
Valve cover gasket replaced
DISA checked and cleaned
MAF replaced with 328 MAF
Slotted and cross drilled rotors, with carbon pads
Lower control arm and control arm bushings replaced
New radiator, new hoses, new expansion tank
New Stuart water pump
all belts replaced
Tensioner upgraded from mechanical to hydraulic tensioner
Idler pulley replaced


Maintanance done within last 2k
Trans fluid swapped with redline mt 90 fluid
rear diff swapped with valvoline 75w140
Spark plugs with NGK plugs.

Rear sub frame was welded with reinforcement kit from Turner Motorsports (increases strength of the rear sub frame for spirited driving

Still pulls strong, doesn't smoke. Oil change done every 4k with Mobil 10-40 ( LL-01 approved oils). Used 93 octane always.

The bad:
Has check engine light because of the catless exhaust, running cats or getting O2 senor simulators will take care of it.
The CF hood clear coat was resprayed but the clear gel under is starting to haze and is visible at certain angles, and not if your standing in front. Not noticeable at night, only in the bright sun. Two half finger length cracks on the sides of the hood. Power leather seats are good, the small speaker in the door on the driver side fell in, needs a new bracket to mount.
