Default Turbo B16 actin funny at lower speeds

Ok...this is going to be a bit hard to explain, so try to understand the problem. I start up the car and everything is fine. then i start driving for a while and everything is fine until the car starts warming up. after a while it will do the weirdest thing. If i am at a dead stop and i try to just drive off regularly it will go for a sec and then almost stall...it doesnt stall no matter what but there is ZERO power. its just kinda coughing and not going any faster. so then i put in the clutch and take off with plenty of gas almost droping the clutch and it will accelerate fine. now while im driving if im below about 45 mph it will do the same thing if i only step on the gas lightly like when you are trying to keep a steady speed. But if i step on it with a healthy amount of gas it acts normal. On the highway though this problem disappears. i can step on the gas lightly or floor it and the engine resonds normally. Basically, it does fine in races and hard driving but its the everyday driving that's messed up. So, with that complicated explanation... someone tell me what the hell is wrong with my car! By the way its a 90 CRX with a B16A1 and t3/t4 hybrid turbo Drag stage II kit) Thanks a lot.

I had that happening on my old jetta, it was the MAF sensor. I dunno what kind of sensor hondas have though. do you have a safc/vafc or anything? what are you using for fuel management?

all i have now is an FMU. Ieven put two things to vent boost to keep the MAP sensor from reading any boost...but the feeling of what the car does is a lot like when the engine goes into lent mode...maybe fro some reason it's still reading boost but i dont know.

sorry..can't remember what those things are called...they are put in the vacuum line that goes from the throttle body to the map sensor

iTS CALLED A MISSING LINK. PREVENTS MAP SENSOR TO READ BOOST. AS FAR AS THE CAR PROBLEM YOUR HAVING, HAVE YOU CHECK YOUR FUEL FILTER? oR MAYBE ITS BECAUSE YOUR FMU PRESURE IS TO HIGH, DUMBING TO MUCH FUEL INTO YOUR CAR. DO YOU HAVE A AIR/FUEL RATIO GAUGE? IF SO WHATS IT READING WHEN YOU HAVING PROBLEM.

Is the check engine light coming on? Does the car miss or just have no power? And this only happens "off" of boost?

yes this only happens "off" boost...i have never had it do the problem while in boost...it does great in boost. The A/F gauge almost always reads rich all the way in green. the only time it ever changes is when im off the throttle or with half throttle it will bounce back and forth from red to green. When i come to a stop at a light it creeps its way back down to all the way green pretty quickly. I thought the FMU only dumps in more fuel when the boost increases though. Isn't that what it runs off of. If my FMU is dumping in too much fuel then how to i change that. also i have not checked my fuel filter.

im betting missing link. you may have that setup to vent boost before it gets to the map sensor, but i had that before as well and it doesnt work that well. get yourself a missing link. then boost away.

you can use a bleeder valve to lower the ratio of your fmu if you're running too rich.
