Default CAI Filter Cleaning

Hey I'm cleaning up my car and noticed my filter is fucking disgusting. It's been on for about 8k miles (smithfield roads) and has accumulated a lot of dust/bugs. What should I use to clean it out? I need the car for tonight so I dont want to have to wait 6 hours for it to dry or anything.

If it's the K&N oil type, Just use water, from like a water hose (some pressure) from the inside out! Once clean, shake dry the best you can. Once dry (a couple of hours), recoat with the K&N oil LIGHTLY.

The kit can be purchased from any (almost) autostore.

if that wasnt a joke, my mom would get pissed if there was about a pound of dirt and bugs sitting in the bottom of the dishwasher. i just went ahead and sprayed it from the inside out w/ water. it cleaned out decently and is drying now
